Group 1:Letters to HomeBy “Letters to Home”, we want to show you migrant workers and foreign students’ life stories, their feeling of working here, their longing for home, and who they truly are. We are hoping to change Taiwanese perception of migrant workers, or even fill the gap between migrant workers and Taiwanese.

Introduction
According to National Immigration Agency, there are over 800 thousand foreigners in Taiwan, including migrant workers, international students, and so on. However, due to the mainstream, most Taiwanese’s impression of migrants is generally narrow and stigmatized. In this context, migrants, especially migrant workers from Southeast Asia have been treated badly on many occasions. We believe this is due to the lack of understanding of each other, and Taiwanese fail to view these migrants as a person yet see them as trouble makers.
We’ll first introduce the population structure about migrants by graphics and share their letters to home and their stories.
