Mirror of You and Me
每一段移民經歷皆獨特，然於我們其本質和概念亦相似。以「鏡子」作為表徵，可說是一種關照、探尋，以及回溯交織的逆旅，同時又因每個人未來都有可能成為移民，故而也是一種眺望。
Every migrant has unique experiences, but we all share similar essence and concept. Using “mirror” as a metaphor, this exhibition explores migration as an ongoing or backtracking journey. Mirror of You and Me is a way of caring, searching, or even overlooking, as migration is a status of everyone’s life.

本校創新國際學院於6月7日舉辦創新國際連結USR計畫線上春季學期展覽，以「移境．映鏡 Mirror of You and Me」為名，透過五部由「移民與全球化」課程學生拍攝的紀錄短片揭明展覽動機。本次展覽藉學生視角進入一段段不同的移民經歷，使觀眾得以窺探移民現狀，繼而明瞭他們是自何處啟程，又將通向何方。
6月7日開幕式當日，主持兼策展人歐子綺老師偕本院院長杜文苓、NGO合作夥伴桃園市蒲公英新移民服務協會（DISA）及群眾服務協會、英國普茲茅斯大學Dr. Isabelle Cheng，以及影像工作坊講師林昶志共襄盛舉。五部紀錄短片，交織出多彩的移民印象，亦是學生眼裡的移民歷程景致。
首部《一名移民學生在Covid下的生活》，向觀者平靜掀開疫情下國際學生在校的生活樣態；《天涯何處是吾家》以溫情的敘事手法及不造作的鏡頭，同觀者娓娓道來越南籍看護阿何的日常；《Xin chào！歡迎來到我的店舖》，於充染煙火氣的街道邊，藉越南雜貨舖老闆的聲音與往昔記憶，鉤織出越南華僑和越南移工的片段旅程；《同心．異地》圍繞位於西門町的飛地書店展開，牽起在臺港人和關注香港脈動的臺人情懷，煲暖港人回望故里的目光；最後，《那一年，我在馬來西亞》由德國交換學生Freya親述在馬來西亞生活的一段經驗，隨著火車汽笛鳴響，觀者受邀步入她回憶中的馬來西亞。
藉「鏡」為喻，如同編連過去、當下以及往後。片中每一段看似截然不同的人生旅程，靜心賞味，或許能在其中尋著生命過往的蛛絲馬跡，或在不知不覺間做一回眺望。觀眾自五方獨特的視角得見移民的堅忍溫厚，感受移旅的孤獨艱辛，並從而與自身相互對照。
杜文苓於開幕式表示：「移民與全球化課程採跨學科方式，促進兼容並蓄的創新。這個展覽，說明了學生如何能為社會帶來正面且積極的影響。」這不僅是歐子綺在課程中逐步引導學生了解並認識的面向，也是創新國際連結USR計畫的目標，最終學生們以紀錄短片作為收束──以移民故事為核心，立足他者角度，回應己身在社會中所能詮釋的角色。跨界的吸納及領悟，歸結一場名為「移境．映鏡」的成果展，學生們欲以此向觀眾呈現移民路上的多種可能，同時開啟大眾對於移民印象更為多方的認知。

The most special thing in this film is to explore an immigrant's life in Taiwan; especially, she is close to me. This film captured lots of different parts of 阿何’s life. To me, documentary gives me chance to interact with my grandma, and 阿何. Not only can I accompany and speak to them more, which makes their monotonous life more colorful, but also do something to record their life, to both their family to get to know each other more.
I really enjoy the process of filming the documentary, though I was always bitten by mosquitoes full of my arms and legs. 阿何 is kind, nice, cute, and taking care about me. I can feel her love. She helped me apply the ointment to my arms, asking what I wanted to eat. To her, it is lucky to have a similar working environment to her home. Hope Taiwan can be the second home of immigrants.

After filming this documentary, I am glad to know more about a migrant worker's life.
Our interviewee is cute and nice, simple and shy, I really enjoy interacting with her. She is happy to work here, although she sometimes misses her family. According to her, grandmother's house is very similar to her hometown, so it can relieve her homesickness and have a great time to work in Taiwan. This is very different from what I knew about migrant workers, after this chance to record her life with my partner, it indeed opens my horizon
