Group 5:Behold the DreamersKaren Munguia is a Venezuelan native who made the decision of packing her life and moving to Taiwan 24 years ago. Ever since then, she has become a mother to two girls alongside her husband and decided to start her entrepreneurial journey. Sabor Venezolano is a Latin American restaurant which started as a food stand making occasional appearances in foreigner managed events held in Taipei. Two years ago, Karen decided to venture into the restaurant industry and she invested her savings in order to rent a small location along Shida Road. Following this decision, Karen’s restaurant has seen steady success, at the beginning only with foreigners, however, nowadays more and more locals are discovering this hidden treasure.
