Introduction
Nowadays, no matter in what country, people might have some negative impression of migrants because of some non-neutral news from social media or stereotypes. Therefore, we tried to tell the public about migrant's life and the difficulties they got through by drawing a comic book. The reason why we choose to use comic books is that people of all ages can get into them and easily understand them. By telling Mrs. Wen's story and her life in Taiwan, we try to let people understand their situation and treat them in a more equal and friendly way.
Here is the summary of the comic book. Mrs. Wen is a 38 years old Vietnamese and her child is about the same age as us. Because her husband works in Taiwan, she came to Taiwan after marriage. She got through some difficulties that most migrants face, such as learning a new language, communicating, and overcoming cultural shocks. Furthermore, her work experience is really wonderful to know.
All in all, the goal we want to achieve is that let Taiwanese people better understand how migrant life is and have a more favorable impression. Moreover, the comic book is a simplier and more interesting way to reach out to a broader age group so more people can know about what happened to migrants in Taiwan.
